Mr Giuliani is committed to advance the field of paediatric surgery by investigating cause of diseases and new treatments for the most common paediatric surgery conditions.
He holds an Honorary Senior Lecturer position at St.George’s University of London (SGUL) where he lectures medical students and conducts clinical and basic science research.
Mr Giuliani’s present research involves causes of necrotizing enterocolitis in premature babies, minimally invasive surgical techniques, transitional care in anorectal malformation, surgical oncology and postoperative outcomes.
He has published many articles in peer-reviewed journals and he regularly presents his research at international meetings all around the world.
Mr Giuliani welcomes Research Fellows from other countries to join his team and to actively work on research projects for a period of 6, 12 or 24 months.
